Since the snow is coming before long, I've been thinking about getting a set of rear tires for my Z. I have the stockers on it right now which are about 3/4 tread left so it should be pretty good. However, I would like to try out other tires. In you're opinions, what is the best tire for snow? I dont care how well it does in the mud, dirt, leaves, or anything but the white stuff.

I had a set of Buckshot "mudders" back in the early 90's when I had ny 350x and my buddy had a set of wooley boogers on his 350x and they were just about equal as far as traction, and they both wore extremely well, but they were a little on the heavy side.

I also wanted to ask how the ITP holeshots were in the snow. I know they do well in the mud and slide great, but I never had them in the winter so I dont know how well they would do.

What about the new Holeshot HD? They look like they would really dig.

Thanks

I know for a fact that the original holeshots work good in the snow (my friend had them on his old quad). I just got the new H-Ds and they have alot deeper lugs. The tread comes all the way to the sidewall too!

realtors are your best choice

Yes, Realtors or Paddle Masters, which are reinforced for use in snow and mud, so they should be fine even if the snow is not super deep.

Also, saw an ATC 200 with realtors out climb a snowmobile! Not a fancy sled, but even so.
