how will an aftermarket web cam improve the quad? do i need to buy anything else in order for it to work?

A Web Cam is a drop in cam....it won't wear your stock rocker arms out like a White Bros. cam will. And you'll notice a moderate power increase. If you don't want to pay retail you better grab this one cause you don't see them for sale very often.

Only one of the Webcams is a bolt on, 3 require hardwelded rockers. So which cam is this?

I just checked on the white brothers website and that is what the cam is a white bros. and you need the stiffer valve spring.
