ASAP!!! Question about hot tank for stripping

My dads work has a hot tank to strip off paint. I was wondering if it will hert the frame on my 400ex if I put it in the hot tank instead of sandblasting my frame. The hot tank is for steel only, and I'm pretty sure the frame and subframe is steel.
