I would stay away from the DVX's if I were you. just a bunch of plastic thats holding that thing togeather. Look into the 05 z400, they are pretty bad ***. Or you could just get a 400ex:rolleyes:

what are u smokin man?the dvx's and kfx/z 400's are almost identical. just not rezzies on the shocks and slightly different plastics on the dvx. also the front and back fenders unbolt kinda like the 450r.i dont know how it felt any different from a z:confused:  maby u sat on a utility and mistook it for a dvx;)

Nothing now...I am clean:cool:

The DVX just looks cheasy....and the KFX does break down a lot. One guy on my race team had problems with his subframe cracking in half this past summer. I believe the '05's don't have that problem;)

I would look into the 05 z400 too. I saw one at the dealer the other day and it looked nice. New graphics, new shocks, some other small changes. I think that would be about the best choice.

tad the only reason that mine actually ever broke down was cuz of me. the timing chain was the only thing that wasnt mainly my fault. water in the carb, my fault. bearings, my fault. that is the only things that broke on my kfx. so i dont know what your talkin about they break down alot.

It's the same quad dude. The only thing different is the subframe is a bolt on. It's a way better design and what Suz is now using on the new models. They are all the same though, just different plastic. Buy aftermarket for the Suzuki and put it on the DVX. All the motors are Suz anyways.

There's a guy somewhere near the top of the "KFX/LTZ 400's" section on this site who just put up pics of his brand new DVX 400.

The ONLY Differences between the Z400 and DVX are the fenders and fender supports, the DVX does feel abit different due to a squarer tank section and a different shaped seat. BTW go buy a pipe for a Z400 and it will bolt right up to the DVX no problem whatsoever.

The plastic is fine dude. There are some pics over at wheelzup.com there are 2 pics pages, just look on there. One is red and one is black. My friend has one and it is pretty trick.

The only differences between the Z/KFX and DVX's is the fenders, headlight, gas tank and seat. For 2004 all of them are the EXACT same excpet for the above mentioned. Now for 2005 the Cats didn't get the updates that the Z/KFX's got.
I have almost 900 miles on my DVX and haven't had a single problem mechanically and the only plastic problems I had was a couple of the fender tabs that the mounting brackets bolt to broke. So I removed all brackets and all is good.
