People claim anywhere between 67 and 72 MPH. I have seen about 69.

from what guys have told me online, they say theyve hit 72 mph. i think thier just a tad bit faster than a 400ex.

Thats what I have heard high 60's. With small mods, pipe and filter low 70's.

I have topped out at 72mph with my DVX when it was all stock. That is on flat pavement and top speed was found from my Garmin GPS.

I raced my cousins stock Z400 this year at the local dragstrip. I live 4 miles from cecil county dragway where 275mph dragsters go. I carry the white slip around in my wallet and here is what it says (looking at it right now):

60' - 2.441 seconds
330' - 6.617 seconds
1/8 mile - 10.407 @ 62.98 mph
1/4 mile - 17.129 @ 69.20 mph

Like I said, this Z was completely stock with about 5 hours on it and I am 6' 2" @ 234 lbs, so a smaller rider may have been better.

But there you have it in black and white.

I ride with DVX chic all the time and when it come to power that zuki moter will walk my ex any day of the week.

TOP SPEED who cares????? Let me borrow ur quad for an hour, ill make it go 110 mph, just cant tell u how fast ull get there.


Just remember this Which would you rather have 1rst 2nd and 3rd gear, or 4th and 5th gear?

Doesnt matter how fast u go, only matters how fast u get there
