Hey, anybody know why and when leagers stopped making 250R frames?? thanx.

a couple years ago, not sure exactly. I think they stopped just becuase it was such a hassle (sp?). It takes a few days to a week to build one frame by hand.

they stopped b/c of all the production rules. its sad when a company that helped hold up atv racing for so many years is just thrown out into the cold like that

Yeah they quit because 250R's couldnt be raced anymore. Since you have to be on a production quad, you could only race aftermarket R's in the open class. I agree it is a sad day, the 250r and the aftermarket companies kept the 4 wheeler world alive for years.
