Rebuilt motor noise

Well I havent had much time but I have had my motor built with a stg 2 cam and weisco piston and so on. When I ride my quad under lower throttle my motor starts to make a scraching noise coming out my motor. Its under lower to mid rpm. I have proper oil level and im not running synthetic (GN4) Honda oil because it has leese then a 1 hour on it.

Sounds like a normal screaching noise that has been asked on this page about 100 times. Mine makes a screaching noise also at certain times. the cam would cause a louder ticking maybe but no screaching noise.

Yea I now that it makes a louder ticking noise but what about the screaching noise is it normal with a bigger cam?

the noise is more than likely coming from the cam chain. its more than likely nothing to be worried about, that chain rubs on guides the whole time it is moving so some noise from it is normal.

man guy just go out there and ride the bloody thing if you don't want to bring it to me and i'll ride it for yah motors make noise thats a fact of life you realize how many moving parts are in there, as long as she aint banging and a clanging your fine
