Hey guys . I have a 86 250x converted with the 350x.
Heres the problem,
I have taken off the stock light switchs to clean up the bars and was going to add a differant switch someplace else on the bike along with a ignition switch. The wires that were for the ignition were a black and white wire and is hot when kicked over and a green 1 when conected to each other the bike ran. I stated it and ran it for a minute then it died. Ok tried to start it back up and no spark? so I checked the black and white wire again by using a lighted tester, and it sparked but when I connect the green wire it now loses spark, Again:confused:
So if any body has a idea that would be great.
Thanks

I think the green is a ground wire, Try leaving it off. The first time it may have not been connected well and thats why it ran. If the key only had three wires going into it, only 2 should be connected to make it run.
