rear tail-light out

i was riding a few weeks ago with a group of people and the two guys who didnt have any brakes both rearended me. the second time i got rearended he hit right under my grab-bar and bent the tab the tailight mounts to. i noticed my tailight was out. i know it worked about 5 mins before that for sure. ive replaced the bulb with one that i know is good, and i hooked my multimeter up to it and i get nothing. the plug is fine and so are the wires, where else should i look? its a 2004 400ex.

get rid of the stupid thing they are just a running light and fall off too easy, JMO I had mine on about a week and I lost it have picked upa couple off the trails since and still dont run one

i lost mine an hour after i bought mine, they are to fragile. the people riding behind you should not depend on your brake light in order to stop. just my humble opinion:)
