Does this axle have a true lifetime warranty against bending and breaking? It sounds like a good deal at $199, I'm thinking about picking one up.

I worries me that they would "try" and straighten it.

The warrenty is prolly like the one I got with my trucks headers. 2years and the headers are covered fully for anything that might happen. After 2 years, whatever happens is covered by the manufacturer 50%. So if the alxe bends after a certain number of years you may have to pay 50% of the cost for a new one.
Hell, thats still pretty good!

If you send LSR a broke or bent axle, stock or aftermarket you will get $100 off there axle. I saw there ad, offer ends december 31st. I plan on bending mine before then..

Where'd you see that? Cause I got a stock axle that could use a slight bend, lol...

Just to let you know... When my Lonestar axle bent. They did not straighten it. Nor did they give me money off. They sent me a brand new axle.

I understand their policy and went over it with a rep. The idea was if you spend the money then LSR will take care of you. They understand that a slight bend in the axle causes major vibrations on high performance quads. "If they cant straighten it to with in +/- .0100 of an inch than they will give you a new axle.

lol just because he bent it....doesnt mean they arent good.

theres many things that can cause an axle to bend..... like landing wrong, or over shooting stuff.

This axle looks to be built well. Just as good as my LSR axle I have on my Raptor. I noticed that for the 400ex the Gforce axle comes wtih a sproket hub and castle nuts but does not come with the axle nut. Does this mean that the stock axle nut will work on the Gforce axle or would I need to buy a different style of nut like I had to for the LSR axle?

Thanks

we want an axle that wont get bent if you land wrong or overshoot... I have barely ever heard of ANY rpm axles bending, im sure people land wrong on those all the time.

haha...um ya i know that.

im just saying alot of it has to do with how the quad is ridden.
ANY axle can and will break at some point..... just some sooner than others.

Yup LSR axles do break! Here is proof. This happened the first of October at Little Sahara. I wasn't even jumping 3 feet! Looks to me like a manufatures defect.

I haven't had any trouble with my G-force yet. I've over-jumped atleast 10-12 times and cased one hard this weekend indoor. I bent my stock axle and a-arms in less than 2 months.
