Does anyone have any comments on the paddlemaster tire, i will be running them on a 2002 400 ex with pipe and k and n filter as the only mods. Do you think this tire will bog my bike down. I am thinking about getting 20 x 11 x 8 since i like to get a lot of air. Any comments are greatly appreciated.

uh i would consider other tires paddle masters are very heavy and dont work real great on any sport quads but i heard that they do work good on most ulility quads

one guy i ride with has them on his 250r and likes them. he has porting, milled head, and pipe so he can spin them with ease.

Personally I would stick with Skat Traks for the sand.
Paddlemasters would be a good choice for running on hard packed snowmobile trails. :blah:

My brother in law had them on his 400ex and they did not really work very well in the sand. We even grooved the paddle faces to give them more "cup" on the face and it really didn't help. They might be good on softer dirt and mud areas but I would not recommend them for dune riding. There are many other tires that are better for that application.
I just purchased ITP Sand Stars and love them.

If you are running a stock 400 don't get them. They will bog it down bad and they are very bumpy at low speeds. They are good for snow and whatever but in sand go with skat track tires.
