My dad's got most of major artillery in the family, I have various pistols and smaller caliber rifles.
Some of my favorites include my first pistol: 9 round capacity Stainless Steel Taurus .22 LR, my Stainless Scoped Ruger 10/22 rifle, and my 9mm Beretta 92f with tritium night sights, Hogue wraparound grips, and a Lasermax internal guide rod laser. Gotta love that smooth Beretta action if you've ever tried one.

I have a Ruger Mini 14 and the only thing stock on it is the barrel, this is the funnest gun that i have ever owned, eventhough its not very accurate.

I love to shoot things

I used to take mine to a quarry nearby and when I broke that thing out with the two 60 shot clips everybody would freek out. It is loud and fast with awsome flames that shoot 2-3' from the end of the barrel. I did have an AK47 and it was the same but not as reliable. It was full auto so I unloaded it before I got in any trouble with it.

I am sure Bart will be jumping in on this one with some good pics too:D

heading to my imagestation now! :D

You had probs with your AK? I've had a couple, fired a few others, never had any trouble. As Clint Eastwood said in the movie Heartbreak Ridge.. The AK-47 has a distinctive sound when fired at you! But hey, I'm American dammit! Give me the 16... The older M-16s with a 1 in 12 twist barrel left much better wound channels though... ;)

Thanks! It's a Ruger .308 built for .30 caliber competition. It has a 24 inch Douglas heavy barrel, glass-bedded action, Timmey trigger, 24x target scope. Best load through it is Sierra 168 grain HP boat tails... using 42 grains of Accurate 2230 powder. I have always been very happy with that weapon... as long as I do my job, it has never failed me.

It turns out he was just a perv (we don't know who he was) who kept picking the lock every night for about a week and got off on watching us sleep (my and my roomate)....we would wake up in the morning and he would have our underwear laying all over the kitchen floor, or he'd hang our towels from the bathroom in wierd places (like over lampshades) so we would know he was there - at first we thought the other roomate was just playing jokes on us......but then I woke up one night and saw the F****er standing there by my bed - I found out what being too scared to scream feels like.....(and I wish that feeling on nobody).......I had a baseball bat by my bed, and when he saw me wake up and see him, he ducked back into the hallway and ran out......I grabbed the bat and we turned on the lights and went throught the apt room by room to see if he was gone........we talked to the police and changed our locks and he didn't come back.........that was about 11 years ago....and I still always sleep where I can see the door to my bedroom if I'm laying down without having to move my head, and I still triple check my locks......and I sleep loaded for bear nowadays.:grr:

I dont have many, but the ones I do have I have for good reason. Well, all but one.
I have taurus PT92C, its my CCW. A Smith and Wesson .38 snub revolver, that was my dads CCW. A Savage 30.06 with a simmons 3-10X44 scope for game. A colt arms AR-15a2, because it served me so well in the army I just had to have one. A Mossberg 500 with a selection of barrels(18", 28" slug barrel, 28" ported with 4 choke tubes) for birds, and home defense. A Ruger 10-22 with a scope for plinkin and teachin the kids to shoot. And a Chinese SKS, this one I have just because it was cheap and I got the gun and 4200 rounds of ammo sealed in combat tins for $180.00 back in 1991.
thats all I need, but I do miss my 454 raging bull:(

Looks to be a little uncomfortable with the earmuffs. It shot well from the relatively close range I was shooting it (50 yards into a sand pile). The thing doesn't kick at all. I am troubled by one thing...I think one of my magazines has problems. If I fill the magazine I can squeeze off rounds as fast as I can pull the trigger until I get down to 2 rounds left in the magazine and then it acts like the spring tension isn't right anymore because the round won't load. You'll squeeze the trigger and hear the firing pin click but the round didn't load. Pull back on the charging handle and let it slam back and it'll fire. Again, fill the magazine and it works great. Only load (or get down to) 2 rounds and it acts funky. I didn't bring the other magazine so I'll have to try it another day.

As far as the ear muffs, it's an awkward picture. I told my wife to get a few pics while I'm shooting...she's takes one as I'm talking to her and raising it to my shoulder:huh The ear muffs don't get in the way at all and are a must-have.

Wow it seems like some members on here have as many weapons as Osama has.

Nice. Hey I have a paintball gun, does that count? :blah:

i have normal guns also but let me tell you pball guns are highly under appreciated when it comes to hurting someone or causing pain...i can under stand that assumption when talking about a spyder or m98 or something but let me tell you a story...i had a fully modded 99' cocker with everything money can buy in it and we turned the velocity up one day to around 450-500 psi (of course it ran on nitro) and from about 50 feet i shot 1 BALL at my freinds leg and it tore through his riding paints flipped him over onto the ground and he was gushing blood!!! man i miss that gun i used to dial up my psi and start start walking the trigger...(20 balls per second) and knock people flat on their backs....but i sold it now i just have to settle with my ruger apache semi auto 10 round clip .22 rifle with a nice scope.....

-Marlin lever action carbine 30-30 open sights
-Ruger 10/22 synthetic stock stainless barrel stainless scope
-Remington model 710 .270 win synthetic stock simons scope 3-9x

my dads:
-Remington model 700 7mm Rem. Mag 3-9x leopold(sp?) scope (i use for long range whitetail hunting)
-Remington model 700 30-06 with cheap bushnell scope (leopold(sp?) broke needs to be sent in on waranty)

-single shot .22 (dad bought while in high school)
-single shot .22 (my great grandpa gave it to my dad when he was a kid)
-old double barell side by side 12 guage(not sure what brand but it needs black powder shells so my dad hasn't used it since he was a kid)
-old .38 special revolver also not wure of brand on this one but its a collector gun and a part broke one time when my dad was shooting it a long time ago and he hasn't been able to find the part since (says he should have never been shooting it in the first place)

even thats gotta suck to a point.... lol.... around here i can line up the .270, 30-06, and 7mm rem. mag and run 20-40 rounds through each one of them and no one ever has bothered us... not to mention i've wat out in the backyard and ran 200 rounds through the 12 guage before and never been bothered.... i probably should start wearing earmuffs while i'm doing that though... lol... oh and just for reference my nearest neightbor is about 150 yards south and then another 50 yards past that, plus one house about 400 yards north(was an old peoples home until middle of the summer) and 2 more houses within 500 yards of that... only a thin strip of trees separate me from neighbors to the south and fields to the north
