grab bar on 400ex

is there a way to chop off the stock one and weld on a new one, and what kind of grab bar can you use for this?:confused:

PRM (http://prm-atv.com/MN.asp?pg=products&specific=282&from=47&mfr=2) they have a grab bar for the 400ex that doesnt require cutting off the old one :) They have another one I believe too with the six pack rack for more fun ;)
