i just put a new idle screw on mine cause the idle screw broke. it could be the pilot jet too. i messed with a lil bit cause mine wouldnt idle right but its fine now.

Yea your pilot jet could be dirty. I still think your best bet would be a new plug and pull the carb off and clean it. Does it run good after you get it started other than idle? Another possability is your coil could be going bad. Try the other first.

im pretty sure its my valves, i finally got it jetted right, and i need to hold it in mid range all the time or it stalls. i think the valves must be bent or warped because i noticed they looked a little pecular when i took it apart

Also ware can i get a nice set of aftermarket valves and how much?:o
