I just bought +2 +1 A-Arms. I was wondering what wheel offset I can use but not go over 50 in. I know I can use wider than stock just not sure how much. Sorry if this has been answered before I didn't see it. Thanks

Use a 3-2 stock offset. That's what I ran, and it was right at 48 inches. I am not totally sure, but I think 3-2 and 4-1 offset are the only offsets for front rims. I could be wrong, flat tracking may use different type rims. Either way, I would use 3-2 form MX and 4-1 for woods.

Thanks for the help. I talked to a friend lastnite that is running
2-3 and is just under 50. I will probably go with 3-2 cause I ride in the woods alot too. Thanks again.

A 2+3 wheel is a bad idea anyway! It put more stress on steering components and causes more bumpsteer. This is why a 4+1 offset handles the best.

I'm going to try and find 3-2 offset. That is why I never turn a set of 4-1 around backwards. That puts alot of stress on everything.
Thanks for your help jeff. Now all I need is more money. But, ya got to pay to play. Thanks

measure from center of the wheel to the outside lip of the wheel. use a ruler and a piece of string. thats the easiest way i can think of.

The first number is the inside.
The second number is the outside.
What those numbers mean is lets say it's 3-2 offset. Thats 3in from where it bolts to the hub to the outer part of the rim. And 2 in on the other side. Just measure from the outer edge of the wheel in. Remember it's a 5in wheel. So if you measure right the two numbers should add up to be 5. Good luck

Douglas makes a 2+4 black label. Steering isn't as good as the 4+1 but I am not on two wheels through the turn on the MX track anymore.
Until I get wider a arms this is what I will have to deal with.

ohguy79 by +2 +1 does that mean +2 wider on each side? The +1 means 1" longer wheel base right?
