as for after college...

my degree is agricultural economics and i am minoring in economics/finance.

I'll probably go into farm credit or mortgage lending after school, and have a small farm operation on the side. I'll probably do greenhouse tomatoes, tobacco, corn, or beans, then also beef, and if i wind up married to my current girlfriend we'll probably breed horses.

Dick Corp going out of business?!?!

What division did you work in? I've worked with a few guys from Dick when we need sub's to help us install ATM's (do wall openings - National City project)

BTW, I work for Diebold... I'm an Implementation Solutions Engineer (fancy title, eh?)... I'm basically our local software guru for the newer ATM's and install them.

mofo,

supposedly only thier highway construction division is shutting down. all the other divisions, building trades, etc. will still be the same - i could probably switch to one of those but doing buildings gets boring and i'd have to travel more.

remlapr - i can't imagine working from home. that would be awesome. it would probably get hard forcing myself to do actual work though.
