parking brake removal

i just bought a block off plate, and was wondering what steps i have to take to complete this swap... can i just pull the parking brake assembly off and put the plate on while removing the cable or what do i have to do?? thanks < jason

just unscrew the 2 bolts where you would put the block off plate and up on the lever, its not hard at all. the hardest part is getting the cable out from the holsters.
