white frame?

i was thinking about going white with my frame
400ex with red plastic, anybody have any ideas or pictures/

I think on K&K's website they had a 450r with a white frame and red plastic. It looked pretty sharp, I just wonder if it would stain.

looks bad arse, but it's beyotch to keep clean.

chain lube at the pivot area, and exhaust stains where the pipe's connect...
..everyday dirt comes off pretty easy, if you wash it after every ride....let it sit, and you'll regret it.

When it's clean, it's CLEAN (blingin')When it's dirty it looks like garbage.

I can shoot someone a pic. It's not perfectly clean...but isn't too bad looking.
White would be a good color....all you need is Pappy to powder coat it. Let me know if you want the pic.

Thats what i'm doing eventually, my plans are the whole thing white, frame, a arms, swinger, still red plastic though. I like white on the frame it makes everthing else on the quad Pop out. I'm tearin my down this weekend, well just have to see how long it takes for me to get some money since im a poor college kid and i'll have a pic for ya. But by then you will prolly have beat me to it.

the next white one i shoot will get a topcoat of low e clear. ive tried the regular clear on test pices and they yellow just a touch. i think with clear the white will last as any other color and not be subject to the staining everyone is fearfull of

the member that owns that white yfz frame pm'd me and stated he has almost 40 hours of racing on it since the rebuild and all is fine. im glad to hear it and now i can use white in some of my projects:p

if low temp clear is added, the frame or part can be simply wiped off and the white will actually never be touched by dirt or grease etc. ill run some test parts and post some pics. im interested in this my damn self:p

That frame looks nice. I would love to get my frame pc'ed white but I don't think it would go with the other colors on my quad.:( Hmmm maybe I could just do a complete rebuild and change everything.:blah:
