Hey Pappy, I read in an earlier post that you said that when set up right, you think that Standard Travel shocks are just fine compared to longtravel. So what do you think if I mainly ride dunes, race mx just a llittle, and am thinking about getting into freestyle. Should I save up the extra and get LT burgards and Axis, or go with the same sorta set-up as yours? Just looking for a personal opinion, thanks

for me there was little to no difference. therefore i couldnt see spending the extra money to upgrade to a full LT set up.

i dont race much and when i do i sure dont go super fast, or jump anything insane so there really isnt much benefit in my situation.

ive talked with several shock builders who have clearly stated that they can do more in the valving with a LT but over all standard travel have come so far in technology that there isnt the huge difference it used to be.

dont trust my word, call up derisi and see what he tells ya, or laz at gt thunder. both guys are there to tell you how it is and wont blow smoke up your skirt.

thanks for the pics.

i think i'll deff be getting burgard arms once i sell the herrmann ones.

and soon i'll be having my shocks converted by c/d racing.

Thanks Pappy, yeah on the contrary to you, I tend to jump pretty big and plan on going bigger, but I'll give those guys a call, thanks again for the opinion.
