which atv do u recommend

Hello all.I own a 2001 yz125 and Im thinking about buying the
2005 400ex or 450 atv.Im 34 and ride mostly trails.What do you suggest.I like the ideal of electric start and reverse,but the 450
is lighter and qiucker so I like that too.thanks

looking at your likings, i would but the 05' 400EX and put a 440 kit on it!

get the 450r. the 400ex is outdated

Ya definately get a 450r and put a 13tooth sprocket on the front and like a Dr. D slipon and it will have alot of lowend power.

the 400ex is not outdated for many people it's the perfect quad. and the 400 sounds like a good quad for your needs

ya pretty much what he said. the 400 would be great for you being ES and reverse. the 450 is fast and really nice but if u ride alota trails u might wish u had reverse some times or another. if u ride really aggressive and fast then ull probablly want the 450r. but if u just kinda ride at your own pace and mess around more type of stuff then i think ud be better off with a 400ex

Im 5'11 and weigh 190,i do ride agreesive at times
but I do not do high jumps like motorcross.

i am scared to say this hear, but am saying in regards to your best interests in being happy with your ride. Have you looked at a raptor. I am 5' 11" and weigh 210 and the raptor is a nice machine, i am selling mine because i am a racer and a raptor isn't proficient at racing. Just DON"T get an 01. Although they are heavy they can pull themselves nicely. Its sopmething to look into

honestly id take a z400 over a 400ex simply because of the liquid cooling and the new upgrades for 05.

also what ratherbriding said is about right. my dad had a raptor for a year or so and he loved it. may be a little heavy but their pretty nice machines.
