im sending my frame to walsh for a gusset and pc job, anyhow im shipping them my frame, i got it all tore down bare, its about4 ft long3 ft high box maybe a tad higher, i planned on putting newspaper around the outside and filling the center with package peanuts, what does ups considered oversized and what should i expect to pay for shipping its only the frame no subby

i mad a box to cover most of the frame, then i jsut wrapped it in shrink wrap, that is alot of packing peanuts,i dont think you will need to do it that much, just wrap the main parts of the frame if you want to

id rather have it in a box because i have to put information along with it and a skidplate mount, and im nut sure if they will ship it back to me in the box, i just would like to know if that would be considered oversize

UPS charges a $5 charge if it is not boxed. Best way to do it is to go on the ups site www.ups.com and plug in the measurements and weight.

When i shipped mine to pappy i just left it bare with nothing on it and taped a piece of cardboard on it with the address. They will wrap it up nice when they return it.....btw, it was only $25 to ship it...

UPS spmetimes will require it to be boxed, especially if you insure it. you dont actually need a box, you can take cardboard and build your own and tape it up.

frames with removable subframe arent a big deal and usually (as stated0 run about $25 to $35 but a 250R frame or 300ex can get pricey, unless you fudge the measurements;)

they didnt measure my box just weighed it,that was a lil weird because it costs me the same to ship a arms as it did the frame:huh
