just bought this system off e-bay wondering what the proper jetting is, there are no other mods done to the quad. i was thinking of removing the airbox lid to.
anyone have this system? what are your thoughts.

lol

i would try around a keihin 152 with the lid on and a 155 with the lid off. this should be a starting point.

most people just wouldn't recommend a DG pipe.

does the DG at least sound good? i figure if i'm not going to get any power out of it, it should at least sound good. i noticed it's one of DG's earlier designs, i thought it was more current, with the reverse megaphone and what not, but it appears to be very similar to the old RCM pipe they sell.
any input would be appreciated.

just put it on and see how it is. if you like it, keep it. if not, put it back on ebay.

thats what i'm thinking. a guy at a local shop said not to even woory about jetting per say. but rather for now move the needle clip down one groove and adjust the main and pilot screws out a half turn at a time to richen it? this doesn't sound right to me but i'll try it for know and get the jets as soon as possible to fine tune it.

with everything else being stock, including filter and air box lid on with no holes, i would probably go up to a keihin 152 mainjet or so. i think this may be important. you could lower the needle clip one position too. turn the fuel screw out 1/2-1 turn if your not going to buy a larger pilot jet. however, your elevation and temperature you ride in will be very important for jetting too.
