The day wasn't too busy. Points battles were winding down and in a few classes, tightening up!
On the starting line was over a hundred quads ready for action.
The green flag went up and Josh Allen takes the holeshot.

On Lap One:
Josh Allen held onto the lead and held a ten second lead over Wyatt Westmoreland.
Riding in third was Noel Cook holding off Gary Bryson, just five seconds behind Westmoreland.
Jason LaRusso was ten seconds back with a pack of Pro riders: Shon Franklin, Santo DeRisi, Mike Houston, Travis Styles, and Robby East all together.

Lap Two:
Josh still out front, with Wyatt Westmoreland holding closer to second.

Five seconds back was Mike Houston, Santo DeRisi, and Gary Bryson.

In the A Class, Brandon Reece was out front.

Josh Allen was second, just a few seconds back tied up in lapped traffic.

Here, Mike Houston gets hung up and Santo DeRisi makes the pass for third.

In the A Class, Joey Coogler took over the lead.

In the 4 Stroke B Class, Matthew Parker was holding onto the lead.

Eddy Siegers aboard the Honda was riding hard in the A Class.

Second in the 4 Stroke B Class was Clay Sigmon, over a minute behind Parker.

Can you believe the Banshee is still alive. Here is Alex Edenfield, showing that the Banshee is still competitive in the 2 stroke Class.

Riding first in the Vet Class was Corey Mitchell

First in the Senior Class was Jeff Hunter.
During the race, Hunter sacrificed his win to help a fellow classmate. This kind of ridership is something that makes me proud.

Lap Four
Wyatt Westmoreland was out front by himself.

2nd in the Pro Class was still Josh Allen
Twenty seconds back.

Third place was the 2004 Mid East Champion, catching up to the leader. Mike Houston.

Fifteen seconds back was Santo DeRisi in fourth

With Joey Coogler out front in the A Class, second place was left in a battle. Here Brandon Reece was holding off Jake Payne (yellow Honda)

In the 4 Stroke C Class, Andrew Brown was out front and with this win he would wrap up the 2004 Class Championship.

Lap 5:
Wyatt Westmoreland holding off Mike Houston by twenty seconds.
The two lap card is out, can Wyatt hold off Houston?
Riding in third was Santo, one minute back.

Josh Allen fell off to fourth, with Jason LaRusso twenty-five seconds back.

Battling for sixth was Noel Cook and Gary Bryson.

Lap Six:
Wyatt Westmoreland was still riding hard, but Mike Houston had reeled him in by ten seconds. The last lap would be a charge to see whoever would pop out of the woods first to take the checkered flag.

In third place was Santo DeRisi with wife, Heather telling him to GO!

Here, just coming through the scoring tent is Josh Allen for fourth, with Jason LaRusso getting scanned.
This race was close!

In the A Class, Joey Coogler was way out front, enjoying his first win for this year.
In second, Jason Wyatt held a comfortable lead over third.
The battle for third was Brandon Reece and Jake Payne.
Here fifth place battle was between Will Cashion on the Yamaha and Tim Allen getting scanned.

When the checkered flag came out, Mike Houston was once again crowned the Overall winner. Mike was taken 2004 by storm by taking his first Mid East Overall Championship this year.

Wyatt Westmoreland took second overall, losing the lead, just a few miles before the finish where he got hung up on a hill.
Wyatt finished twenty-five seconds back from Houston.

Taking Third Overall was Santo DeRisi.
