Nerfs and rear plastic

I have a 400 ex with pro armor nerfs with the heal guards. the bottom of my rear plastic is rubing the top of the heal guard and wearing away the meatal. If i keep on rifing like this it will make a hole. Should i shave the bottom of my plastics off or is there a better method.

just shave the plastic a little

shave the plastics. it will be better than ending up with a hole in your nerf bar
