What gearing setup are you running? I went back to the 14th front but am wondering if I should bump it up one in the rear.

No one rides the Dunes. Our is everyone just running the stock gearing.

From what I've found in the 4 trips I've made to the dunes on my TRX is that the stock gearing works perfect. I tried the 13t and even went up to a 15t on the front, neither worked out great. Stock gearing is low enough to pull you around at low RPMs but offers good power in the midrange-top end which is what you want at the dunes. I fly around in 3rd and 4th gear all day without any problems.

As far as the rear sprocket goes, never tried changing that.

I have ran the 13 tooth in the past. The last time I was there I felt that I needed the 14 back on badly. When I go again it will be the stock gearing.

I'm planning on going back to stock gearing too. After I got my pipe, the 13t felt too low.

Thanks to everyone for the reply. I think I am going to go to a 39th in the rear with the 14 up front.

I run stock gearing on my 450r at the dunes.
