I just saw an advertisement for an MSD ignition for the 400ex. Has anyone else heard of this. Is anyone running one yet?

I saw the add, too. I went to the web site it listed, but there wasn't any info on the ex package. I am definately interested in it. I have an MSD ingintion system in my 67 Mustang & it is great.

I have been talking to MSD about a sponsorship deal. www.factorydirectperformance.com is actually who handles the motorcycle and ATV part of MSD's Ignition line! He said he is going to work some kind of deal with me but they wont actually be ready to sel or distributel for about 2 more months!

he also said the 400EX system will retail for $450

how much of a gain will u get out of it? and what is the upside of it?

Well, actually i called factory direct. They said that they have two of they employees testing them on their own machines as we speak. Like Chad said, they told me they should be posting liturature on them in about a month or two. If this system can do for a quad what their other setups can do for a car, them we are definately in for a great ignition upgrade!

I will keep you posted. he had me mail my resume in to him and said he will be in touch with me shortly. man i sure would be happy to be one of the first to test it out!!!!!!!

When i get it ill have it on there:D just think how long my sig would be if i actually broke down every part going in the motor!!!!!

Dyna has a good ignition system (on banshees at least) my friend has it on his shee and he had it set for low and didnt make it up a big ****, then he went to mid and made it.. he is a verry consistant and good rider with tons of money into his machine.
