Good news for SPADER fans/raceway park mini race coverage

I just got back from englishtown (raceway park) Where Travis went 1-1 in the pro production class over the likes of John Natalie(2-2), Pat Brown, Donny Lysinger and a few others.
In the first Pro open moto, something Happen to Spader on the start, he came around about 30 second behind last place. Natalie walked away with that moto, I believe Pat was 2nd, Lysinger 3rd. In the second Pro open moto Travis got the holeshot, but almost seemed to pull over in the 3rd corner and let everyone by!? Natalie again walked away with this one Pat Brown second, with lappers it was hard to tell, but I think Lysinger in 3rd again. About halfway Spader threw a chain, mounted back up and finished the final 2 laps "playing" with John Natalie out front, stayed right with him, they were hooting and hollaring at eachother...it was a good show.
From what I could tell Travis was riding a Hellbound YFZ with Axis front shocks and a-arms, TC slip on....stock swinger...I believe it was a Novice guy's bike, but Travis sure made it fly!! He even got the most ridiculous holeshot in the 1st pro production moto that I have seen in a long time, A good 3 bikes on second going into the first turn.
On another note, Natalie was running FOX air shocks on the front of his YFZ, I meant to ask him about them but could never find him at his trailer. He was the fastest guy of the day, but couldnt match Travis' starts in pro-production, In pro open he was untouchable, aiside from he and Spader having fun at the end of the second moto. It was a pretty good turn out, with just over 200 riders. The track was perfect ! PUT IT ON YOUR CALENDAR FOR NEXT SEASON.

spader kicked some serious ***, i got alot of nice pictures of him but i need to resize some of them for here, also

Natalie was running the air shocks for 1 or 2 races but took them off because he didnt like them so much, he said something along the lines of "They're not that bad but they arent cutting it for me".


Seems to me that for most riders they will do the same for you that a nice set of elkas or tcs's will do.

Lehr had a realy unlucky day today, once his clutches went out and another time he wrecked on a double.

There is still no doubt he is one of the fastest kids his age and hes got a ton of talent.

The quad looked like it hit him pretty hard. The crowd was shocked at first but then he got up and rode off the track.

He was deffinatly running smooth out there though he just had a bad day.

Exriders.com member "Tants" did realy well today. I wasnt around for his second moto but his frist one, 4 stroke C went great. He lead All the way up untill the White Flag and then got passed by a yfz and a 450r on the last lap. He ended up making an impressive Third.

Cool looking swingarm that caught my attention, wonder how strong they are.

They are up there, im pretty sure this was the last lap of the pro production moto #2. Spader was in the lead followed by brown who was trailed by Natalie. Natalie had a horrible start and worked his way from last place behind brown, and then he passed him for the 2nd place finish behind spader.

This was a very exciting moto and had everyones attention

Lou what class did you want results of? i photographed the result sheets at the end of the day but some are not too legible because of the darkness...lemme know..ill see what i can get for ya.

I get the feeling there is gonna be a 2 stroke quad in the for sale column next week. You ain't no little guy, you could use that torque of a 4 stroker. I've been on 2 strokes for 17 yrs, and now im on this 450r I wouldn't even be interested on riding anything else. Not brand loyal, just lovin the power.

Looks like a Kick arse track !! does this mean that mister spader may be making a return to quad racing ?? i am a spader fan and some of the best photos i have in my screensaver are of him i would love to see if he can shake up the 2005 season !!
