Happened on one of my 400exes many years ago, those welds arent always perfect, and may start to pull away sometimes. Hope you werent hurt when it happened. You basically have two options, trust a welder to fix it, or buy a new set (stock a-arms arent that expensive). Id look around, you can probably find a used set for about 100 bucks.

this is how i think it happened...

i started to ride and noticed a clanging...figured it was my nerf since it is a loose...i look down and i notced the damn thing like that:grr:

why would u ride with a loose nerf man, tighten that thing up before it snaps like those did.

lol its not loose so its gonna fall off...just where the nerf slides onto the round peg i have metal screws in it....trust me it holds

put a want ad in the wanted section of the site.


I'll geurentee(spel?) there is a lot of people that have stock a-arms laying around that they will sell for half the price of what it costs brand new. Stock a-arms should be pretty common because so many people replace them for wider a-arms or long travel.

thats happened to a friend on his blaster,he was goin bout 73mph and sparks started flying and his a-arms broke completely off.had to lift front end onto suzuki 230 to bring it home.

my old q racer 250 did something kinda like that the shock shaft pulled out of the shock bottom and i didn't notice until i was on my lid having that happen on the left shock pitching it into a right handed sweeper and 6th pinned on a quad racer with and LRD built 265 motor is a brutal crash and I was mostly mad because nobody saw it

a geared up one might but it would take ten days and a long down hill to get it there
