Gettin a used quad next year

Well i sold my 2000 400ex to get my 2005 arctic cat f6 snowmobile and im looking to get a used quad next year. The maximum limit i would want to spend is $3000. What do u guys think would be a good used quad to get i was thinking another 400ex? a 250r and fix it up, and z400 or raptor but i dunno if they would be too pricey?
