I have a 20' shipping container I use to keep all my quad stuff in. I am trying to get a heater for it. I was thinking of getting a forced air heater, this way when im done riding in the snow I can put the heater on it and keep it from freezing up. The smallest one I can find is 50,000 btu's That is way big for what I need and it will be 110 degrees in there in no time with it, Im looking for something around 20k-30k max for it. What kind of heater will put that out?

A twin burner Mr Heater will heat that space well. As would a kerosine heater. If the container is not insulated, its gonna be a bear to keep it warm in there.

Yea I was just talkin to a guy about them, aparantly the higher the BTU the more consistent it gets with fuel usage. More BTU's per fuel consumption.

i dont know if you have access to electricity, but i used to use just a little walmart space heater, i think it was like 25 bucks, it would heat and keep my 24X24 garage around 50* in winter time. But now, i have a heated garage, i just push a button on the wall :D

This is the modle i was refering to. A little bigger than i though at 35,000 btu's.
If your working in the garage while you have them running i would go with propane. More efficent, burns cleaner and less fumes.

so propane is more efficient... do you have a little 5 gallon tank? I may get a 20 gallon tank to go with it. I can have it filled for around 17 dollars. I dont know how much kero is right now.

I have a 55,ooo btu reddy heater (kerosene). Use that to get the garage warm, after 20 minutes or so i come back out turn that off and start up my single burner prpane deal, that bolts to the tank.
I should have went with the propane setup though. I can get propane at work. The kerosene was 2.50 a gallon last week when i got some.

I have a 2 head Mr. Heater that runs off of Propane. I heat my 24'x30' garage with it in the winter when I am working in it. It takes about 20 minutes to get it comfortable, but it stays fairly warn in there with it on. I can back it down to one burner after I get it toasty.
You may want to check them out.
