400ex shock ?

wat is a good shock for a 400ex for mainly trail riding. i dont wont to spend like a grand. something nice for cheap any requests or advice plz tell me

If you can find a good deal on some 450R front shocks they're really plush and nice for trail riding. In most cases you do have to grind the tops down a little to get them to fit though. You can pick them up for $200-$300. Hard to beat considering you're getting fully adjustable shocks with remote rezzies.

if you only ride a couple of hours a week and you dont do any motorcross, i would recommend works triple rates with out resivoirs. this isnt the greatest shock in the world but c&d has great prices on them and they are a huge upgrade from the stock shock.
