I am sick of messing up my rims and changing tires. I heard about these Hipers and they claim they can not be broken:huh . But I'm only nineteen and can barley get away with going to races every weekend:rolleyes: . Are these rims really worth the money or should I just stay with my ITP rims? And I race XC.

They are good rims. They can be broken. I have broken one front on a big rock I didn't see. I like them a lot, plus they look cool and they are beadlocks. In my opinion if it makes you happy it's worth the money.

I think they are definetely worth the investment. Regular rims dont take as much of a beating as hypers do.

If you do break them, make a phone call get an RA number and bam you have a new part coming.

Get that from any other wheel manuf

compared to stock, maybe.. never weighed mine but theyre definetly heavier then the stock rims. Theyre not 6 lbs heavier then regular beadlocks.

A Hiper wheel is 2 1/2 lbs lighter than a stock rim.

Then the stock honda rims? nooooo

This is off of hipers site:
"Our 10x10 rims solve these problems as they only weigh 6.8lbs (6.5 lbs w/titanium fasteners) while having the much needed dual beadlocks."

The stock aluminum rims dont weigh that much, not even close.

Did you mean aluminum beadlocks?

well considering 10x10 is bigger then the stock wheels which is 9x9 then yeah it probably would weigh more then the stock wheels but some of the reasons people buy the hiper wheels are because they are strong, dual beads on rears, and less rotating mass which would put less stress on your motor meaning better torque, hp, throttle response but I could be wrong thats just what my mechanic has told me

Yes i know, id sacrfice a little bit more weight for durability anyday. I just dont get how ppl think they wiegh less then stock wheels. A stock wheel weighs about a pound, atleast thats what it felt. Before my hipers came in i was thinking they were gonna be light cuz yah theyre carbon fiber, but compared to stock wheels they werent.

No complaining here, just trying to get the facts straight. I love my hipers, wouldnt trade them for anything.

I use to run the samethings. They just wouldn't last very long. They would get flat spot around them. I would beat them out and it would do it again. Got tired of doing it
