glue traps are horrible, inhumane. they'll chew off their legs trying to get away....when you find them squeaking and mangled, you'll wish you hadn't used glue traps..... major bad karma. use a victor wood trap with peanut butter. instant death, no pain, just dump the whole trap. couple bucks for 6 pack at lowe's.
glue traps'll give a brother bad dreams. ack. leave the traps along the wall....mice rarely boogie across the middle of a floor, they stick to the sidelines.

go to fleet and buy some of those .22 cal birdshot, get the trusty pistol out and go to town. otherwise the old fashion mouse traps are hard to beat, just put them in every corner and wait. or if you feel real crafty get a 5 gallon bucket and fill it up 1/4 of the way with anti-freeze, then poke a hole in the back of a beer or soda can and break a clothes hanger apart and stick it through the can, and then tape the the ends of the clothes hanger to each side of the bucket. this way the soda can will spin but the clothes hanger wont, then put some penut butter on the can and wait for the little fellers to attack it.

you ever see the .22 cal birdshot? those work great on mice. its not a actual .22 bullet, its just like a mini shotgun shell.

My cat seems invinceable. He has lost part of his tail from a snowmobile, possible lost site in one eye ( i cant tell) and has scars all over. All i know is he weighs a ton and hes not fat at all. Possible the strongest cat i have ever seen. My cat will leave for weeks and then come back. I'm surprised hes still alive, he has never been to the vet in his life. I find mice and birds all over the place, half eaten

We too have recently had a mouse problem at my house. We tried almost every type of trap out there, and have finally found, in my opinion, the BEST mouse trap ever invented. It is, as someone previously stated, a rectangular box sealed plastic box, that has a small opening on one side that leads the mouse through a maze to get to a glob of peanut butter on the other end of the box. To reach the peanut butter, the mouse has to step onto two separate pads that are electrically charged enough to kill the mouse.
Within 2 days, we caught 8 mice!!!
There is no possible way for the mouse to steal the peanut butter without getting a life ending shock. It's pretty awesome. They cost around $20, which is totally worth it in my opinion. We bought ours at a Lowes.

or you could get a cat but an easy way to get rid of them is to go buy a bomb from osama and blow the bicths up

Don't know about the electric trap, but the only one I found to be fool proof is the Have-a-Hart live trap. It's a gray plastic square tube with a drop down door on one end. It has a pivot point in the middle and when the mouse goes in to get the bait, the trap tips and the door goes shut. Then you either release it next to your friends house or drown it in the bathroom sink:devil: I tried glue traps(all I got was a bunch of fur) and snap traps but I had very smart mice. They could successfully lick peanut butter off the underside of the trip lever even after I modified it so that blowing on it would set it off! As far as hunting them, I did shoot one in the living with a pellet gun once. Talk about a feeling of satisfaction. All this was years ago when we lived in a trailer. Thankfully I don't have to deal with them anymore.

Woah... heres your solution to your mouse problem...

:eek2:

If he has the proper nap, and prior feeding, he may just be able to chase down those pesky mice

i find it hilarious that some of you suggested shooting them. if they were outside fine but this guy is talking about having them in his home. does it really sound like a good idea to go around shooting up his house to get rid of mice?
get the electric trap or call the exterminator.these sound like the two best solutions. if you decide to use any kind of trap, use peanut butter for bait. the cheese thing is something that only works in cartoons just like the myth that cats hate water. i haven't ever seen a cat that hated water, that is what they usually drink. every cat i have known that drank milk ended up getting the chits but te ole myth says that cats are to drink milk. ;)
