I had someone give me a set of rear holeshots 18-11-10. how ill this tires work out for trail riding or just all around having fun with. The only bad thing is I'm going to have to buy new rear rims now. Let me now what you guys think. Should I keep them or sell them and get 20" rears. Thanks

I don't know much about those tires, but where do you ride at I am in Quantico and have a few places to ride but not that much, so let me know.

Hey wishertdf Its 1bad400 I forgot my password so I created a new name. Have you been riding lately. Is the place you ride at on 234 right up from the 7-11. Is there a dirt road beside the hotel you go down to park. I stopped by there last week to check it out but there was some heavy equipment working at the bottom of the hill so I didn't stop.

Yeah that's where its at, we actually park right beside the 7-11 on a service road that goes about 100 yds in. Those trails are ok and there is a track somewhere but you have to go across rt. 1 but haven't done that yet. If you want to go riding the next time we go just e-mail me at WISHERTDF@HMX-1.USMC.MIL

you do NOT want 18 inch tires for trail riding,,there for motocross only,,unless you plan on ripping your rear end off from hitting rocks, logs, etc..

Hey Rico thanks for the straight up answer. I,m not really worried about rocks, etc. Where we ride at there are not that many rocks or roots to worry about. Everyone I see has 8" rims. How will the 10" effect anything. Is there much or a difference? If I decide to keep them should I run 20's on the front. Again Rico thanks for giving me a honest answer. Also sweet bike!!;)

The 18" holeshots have problems with weak sidewalls. If you do any trailriding you are risking a puncture. 20" tires for the front are the only way to ride. But I would definitely get a set of Trail or XCT tires for the rear. Mo
