fan put hole in radiator

my fan on my 450 wore a hole on the radiator. The ring on the outside of the fan that spins when the fan turns on was rubbing on my radiator and now it leaks. anyone have similar problem? any ideas how to fix? i dont want to buy a new radiator......... looks like im gona have to:ermm:

is it in perfect cond.? does it have any dents?

I recomend that everyone checks their fan, look close at it and spin it by hand and make sure that it doesnt make contact with the radiator any where. i didnt do anything to my fan and some how it started rubbing and i just happened to see it.

I had the same problem. I just replaced my radiator and shimmed the fan out a little bit.

i've never had a problem with this. i can almost get my finger between the fan ring and the radiator. after 4 xc races on the quad the fan has only kicked on one time during any of them.
