is the Fcr39 worth it for my 400,? I heard it is has a stumble problem when you punch the throttle? I don't know much about the Fcr How hard is it to jet these? WHat would be the cheapest with the throttle cable thanks

It made a big diffrence on my built 416 last winter, I love it, I got mine used for $340 think here on exriders, so that was a plus for me, then I sold my stocker, that gained me 75 back, so all and all, I think it was definetly worth it. About that stumble, mine used to do it, then I put one size smaller pilot and it fixed it  ... I dunno, works great.-darren

i really didn't have any major complaints about it. it doesn't have a choke which may cause a problem in winter, but most can get theirs started without one. there is a little miss if you nail the gas at low rpms really quick. it isn't that bad though. i wouldn't let that stop you from getting one.

If you don't go the fcr carbs check out the edelbrock quicksilver. I love mine. No starting problems, no stumble, Mine works great.

Mine is not that bad at all. My thumb never hurts after a race.

I agree with the thumb falling off with the edelbrock carb, the fcr does have a lighter pull.

the fcr i had seemed lighter than stock. the throw was much shorter than stock too which was really nice.
