I heard the slip on is awesome for the 450r. Does anybody know the cheapest place to purchase this. I heard of people buying it for 220 bucks, but i called dubach racing development and they wanted $300.

they are nice......but i recommend a HMF slip on:)

I decided to go with the dr. d. The guys at 450r.org just loved this pipe so that's what i went with, i'm sure they're both good pipes.

if you hear a TC you wont think sparks is loud either:D

That's why i went with dr.d, i was told that it isn't as loud as any of those other pipes, but still a very good power gain.

I had a cobra on an old warrior and it was not only annoyingly loud, but i think it did the impossible and actually took power away!

im getting a pulse charger. it was designed with sound issues in mind .

couple things..

If the tc is 125 decibals, how can they race with it?? I beleive it, that dam thing is loud!!

And why is it that me and my buddy that has a yfz both have HMF pipes, but his is so much louder? i dont get it?

I had a cobra pipe on a 87 250X and that was the loudest quad i have ever heard.

My brother had a cobra on his 88 250x, it was really loud.

I had a DG RCM pipe on my first quad, an 87 lt230e, it may have been even more loud then the cobra. I had more than 1 cop stop by my house while I was riding around the yard with that pipe on the bike.

I was behind a guy in the gate and he was hitting the rev limiter waiting for the gate to drop and i thought my ears where going to start bleeding. I had a helment on and everything.

Got my exhaust on today and i really like it. It's got a very throaty sound. It's not very loud until you get on it, which is what i was looking for.
