Updated motor.

and most of all.....REVERSE! :D


It runs just as good as my 400ex did with a PC T-4 exhaust system, jet kit, and K&N.
I am hoping that once I put the same upgrades on it that it will run better than the EX did, if it doesnt, oh well, I am still very happy with it.

It was a garage queen. The guy I got it from bought it new, rode it 4 times for anywhere between 4-6 hours each time, and then parked it. He needed money real bad (getting married, fiance' wanted big ring):huh So I got a good deal on it...$3700......I sold the EX for $3000 so I only had to come up with another $700.


It had been sitting in his garage for the last year and the gas went bad in it. I could smell rotten gas from 10' away. Once I got everything cleaned out, it ran great.

BTW, it handles much like the EX did too. I was going to buy a Raptor but after riding a few of them, I realized that it just wasnt for me. I didnt like the way it fealt, it reminded me too much like my old Warrior did, top heavy and clumsy. I love the way the EX machines feel and the Suzuki is so much like it that I couldnt go wrong.

So I've heard....If I keep a good chain on it, I shouldnt have to adjust to too often, hopefully I will be ok.


What have you heard about them? All I heard was that people didnt like the fact that you have to keep the axle straight like the old motorcycle adjusters, and that the bolts on the back would eventually rust. I am anal about keeping up with my stuff so every time I lube my chain, which is before every ride, I will also lube the axle bolts (adjusters).

remove all the bolts to the adjuster (4 on top, two in the rear) and put a coating of anti-sieze compound on them. After that worry free from breakage. Re-apply after afew rides;) :D

Ahh, I forgot about the ol' never sneeze. I have a few bottles of it in my garage. Good idea.


As far as mods, it will be all exterior mods, no motor mods. I like the fact that it has low hours on a factory built machine and has never been opened up, less chance of breakage.


All I want to do is the typical:

Exhaust system. I had the Pro Circuit T-4 on the EX and it had gobs more power and it sounded great without being annoyingly loud.

Jet kit, You do the exhaust, you almost hafta do the jets. If you make it easier to breathe out, why not make it easier to breath in?

And an Air filter, probably K&N.


Other than that, I wont need anything else motor wise. I will prolly put some nerfs on it and some "bling"...I will do the Billet aluminum everywhere. and maybe the stainless bolt kit.


I am a stickler of keeping my quad clean and keeping up with maintinence. I used to laugh at my dad when he would armourall the tires and fenders, but here I am doing the same thing. I guess age does that to you.:D

It is a White Bro's E-series w/6 plates full pipe. Sounds great. Not too loud but when you open it up you know it!

Accually, I burn wood in my house to heat in the winter. Some of the wood that I get is in the woods where my tractor wont make it, so I put a hitch on the back for this purpous.

Also, I love pulling my son around on the sled in the winter time so this makes a good connecting point. I just put a hitch on my Z400 today. This one is a bit smaller though, it doesnt stand out as much. Each one is different though, I had to cut, grind and weld everything, and it wouldnt fit off of my 400ex, so I had to make another one.

It doesnt get in the way and it doesnt weigh much.

nope i used POR15 it's truck frame paint u put it on with a brush and it comes out nice and shinny and it hardens like a rock.

i actually think a guy on yfzcentral named merriman(sp?) makes stems with the top like that. alot of people have been getting them so im guessing they are pretty good. if that isnt that type of stem, then damn its bent bad, but i think those are just how the stems look like. racer87...bent stem or is it supposed to be like that?

Yep, i bought it with a cracked head and few other small problems and am in the process of getting everything in shape.

The purple a-arms are off, but i still have them (they were mine to begin with, he was just borrowing them). Long story on how they came to be purple.

Also, you're picture has to be uploaded to a gallery site, I use www.photobucket.com it is free and works very good since they've changed their site around. It will automatically resize the picture for you to fit in the bandwidth,


Here is how you do it.

1) Upload you're pic to website.

2) right click on the newly sponsered pic and left click on "properties"...Or find the URL for it under the pic itsself like photobucket has...then copy it.

3) Reply to a thread and click "IMG"...It will automatically have HTTP:// in the box, delete that and then paste you're URL in that box and click "submit".

4) Sit back and dream about all of us drooling over you're machine.:)
