450r frame aluminum??

I'm thinking about getting my frame chrome plated. I think the frame's aluminum, but I'm not sure. Is it ok to get aluminum chromed?

if you dont ride the quad then youll be ok. if you ride it id stay away from the chrome plating. as much as the R frames have been developing cracks id say its a waste of money.
