What is that??? I bought a nitro stampede abotu 5 years ago, I swear is cost more to run that then it does my 400ex. I went out of range one day and it went full throttle into a tree, just about everything went.....

I just had a T-Maxx, had about $300 sunk into buying, and trying to fix it... I just got rid of it for $75 and barely drove it... POS :o

Good luck with your truck though... :D

sounds like you got a bad gear mesh....take a peice of notebook paper squeeze your gears together until the paper is squished or makes a nice littel zig-zag and it will be alright............try a mini-t for some real fun man!:eek2:

HPI Racing Savage 25... Work's great so far. Yeah, definately a bad gear mesh. First one was just being dumb and ran it into the mailbox..... GRINDDDDDD.. Gone.

Second was my improper installation. I'll be putting in the new gear tonight using the paper technique..

So far so good, and holy crap can that thing fly... LITERALLY.

10 of us at work have them...

There are about $399.00 @ towerhobbies.

I have a Savage 25 also. They are figgin mean. I am having the same problems though always strippin out spur gears. Right now I gotta change out the clutch bell and the rubber clutch attached to the driver shaft coming out of the engine. Its a biatch to get this nut off I still havent got it!! They are awesome lil toys though!!

Yeah, i have yet to decide if I'll be getting the aluminum spur gear. The problem with that is instead of stripping the spur gear you'l likely damage the transmission... hmmmm plastic spur gear 4 bucks.... transmission 75 buck's...

My driving skills are not quite where they need to be...

and I believe that a metal on metal transfer of power (metal clutch gear to metal spur gear) will cause radio interference.
