Hey guys, where can I find a 12 -1 piston and who makes the highest quality ?
For some reason I think je makes 12-1 and wiseco 11.5-1, and those are the only 2 out there.
is there a big difference in the 12-1 and 11.5-1 ?

from what i have read on here. they say the 12:1 isnt worth the money..but i hear alot of good stuff about the 13;1

im sure your going to notice a nice difference between 10.5-1 and 12-1.. as far as the 13-1 goes if i get that then im always tied to race. financially not a problem but i don't think I would like the inconvenience. I take alot of all day trips where i end up 15-20 miles from home and I usually stop to fill up somewhere in the mountains be it a station or a friends house. I just don't want to be luggn fuel all over the countryside or I would just go with the 13 or 13.8 to 1 piston

13:1 would be safe on 93 pump gas. C&D offers a ceramic coating on their 13:1 piston which lowers the temp and reduces detonation allowing the lower octane to be run.

I had the JE 11.5:1 piston and it was not worth it. I really dont think the jump from my old piston to 12:1 is going to be much of a power jump either. If you're not going to go with the 13:1 or higher comp pistons....just get a good cam and leave the stock piston in. Now if you invest into the FST500 kit which uses the 12:1 piston...that might not be bad.

I have the 13:1 piston now and absolutely love it!

Yes, the 13:1 is a 3-ring piston where the 13.8:1 is a single ring piston.

ok cool i think im just going to go with a regular 13-1 piston and pulsecharger exhaust . should be great !
