Hello,

I have a question that I m sure has been discussed a lot of time but no search possible with HRC and KIT (only three letters !).
So what do you think of the HRC kit ? is it worth the money or not ?

yea,... I've got 3 450 cams in my gargage- they are:

1. new Stock cam
2. HRC cam with only couple hours on it and no visible wear.
3. Curtis Sparks "Agressive" cam
4. and new Megacycle 801-x2 cam

I'm selling cam 1 through 3 if anyone is interested.

yes its the best buy you can make.
Ive herd that the new sparks and the x-2 are the same and the old sparks cams were know more than a 02 CRF cam. a little word from a bird i know.:p that same bird said that the x-2 cam and the HRC made all most the same numbers on the dyno and that it would be hard to tell them apart.

Don't even think about it Just Do It..
If your not planning on getting any engine mods done for awile its the best thing you can do to that machine for the money!!

Since you cant buy just the cam unless you buy it used from what I've found, you might as well buy the HRC kit. Its kind of a waste of money in some aspects because most guys are going to buy a full exhaust anyways and just throw their airbox lid in the trash too. But you get the cam and the HRC jet kit which will work good and when you get a full exhaust....you're really going to love it. It all really depends on what you are going to do. If you're a regular trail rider, HRC kit is fine. If you're going to do full blown MX racing, I wouldnt suggest it because there's better ways to spend the $$$. Thats just my opinion....

I'm all for the HRC kit though :devil:
