Cooling Fan

I have took my fan off the 450r, all I use it for is motocross and I never usually let it idle long just enough to get it warm. Ive never had a problem with my quad getting 2 hot but I was gonna get a inline cooler jus to keep the temps down!! Just wantin to ask anyone who has a inline cooler if u can tell it helps or nah? thanks in advance!!

If you really want to save some weight, just do away with the radiator completely and just run the inline cooler. I mean if you just race and never sit at idle, wouldn't the air cooling be good enough?

no it would get hot without the radiator..If it was an aircooled motor it wouldnt but take a look at the 400exs motor and u see how it looks like fins thats wut helps it stay cool, the 450r motor isnt like that, it needs a radiator...and to answer the other question ( why i took the fan off ) its not doing me any good, its jus adding weight, I kno its not much weight but another reason is because a guy building a crf wanted it to keep his cool and offered me $100 !!:eek2:
