help asap???

I was wondering if any one had any good demions for a dirt jump im using only a shovel and a bcuket me and my buddie are building it i was thinking maybe 3 and a half - 4 ft tall 5-6 ft wide and 5-6 ft long and then we were gonna test it and get an average of how far we fly and then build the landing any good ideas im gonna bury some peices of wood and some old 3 wheeler tires and rims and other good thinks to use to keep the jump solid

sounds like a good plan ill get pics of the dirt jump we built just make sure its wide enough for ur quads

just take some logs and stack them in a pyramid, with about 2" of loose dirt between them, and keep doing that until you get it as big as you want, then put about 10" of dirt on top, and pack it....make sure the top is rounded with plenty of dirt this will wear down a lot. then yea just hit it once or twice and put the landing about 5-10 feet farther then you landed cause youll get bored of that soon

ok thanks man and we are gonna just use mine he doesnt have a quad yet but my other friend might try to hit it with his polaris sportsman 500 4x4 lol he'll probley kill his quad if he does that tho

if you want it to be 4 feet tall it needs to be a lot longer than 5 feet.

today me and my buddie built the jump i mean its not aht big yet but its gettin there were probley gonna work on it again sometime but it is about 3 and a hlaf ft tall and like 4-5 ft long and like 4 ft wide so ffar we burried some old 3 weheler rims and tires and 2 huge concreat bricks he had at his house

id go like 7 feet wide and about ten feet long with a nice lip
you dont really have to go to high just make sure you have a good lip
