Boots and Plastics

This last weekend was the first time I've ever worn riding boots. After many laps around the local track, I noticed that my boots were scratching the hell out of my plastics....I guess I was wondering if this happens to the masses, or just me, I'm assuming the masses.

Happens to everyone! Go to a local auto parts that carries alot of off road truck parts and buy the clear plastic tape for the bottom of truck so rocks and things dont chip it! I bought mine at Cabela's and it was on a 25 ft. roll for 11.99 and it gets dirt under it every once and awhile then you just shcange it i have had the same roll and rode all summer works good and completely relieves scratching.

I may have to give that a try....I was also debating on over the boot riding pants, i mainly ride dunes and do freestyle, I mx for the jumps, lol.
