High Compression Piston Kit and Hotcam

so far i have a stock 400 and i was wondering if i would get my moneys worth if i got the wiesco high compression piston kit (11:1) and stage 2 hotcam

those mods would prolly give a noticable power gain but if u are wanting alot more power a big bore kit will give it to u...they make them anywhere from 416-440 and higher for stroker kits and such

look let me tell you some thin i got a stg 1 in my 400 and it runs:)

here is what you should get to get the full potential out of the cam and high compressiopn piston

1st get the high compression piston
2nd get the cam doesnt matter which one
3rd get a high rev cdi box

with these three things you engine will run twice as good without having to bore it and if yuo decide later to bore it you have the 2 important things already installed to get you engine revving faster and harder (cdi and cam)

with my 400 i can now pull 2 gears higher out of corners and that is stock size bore and the three things i mentioned above

If you go with the stage 1 you'd be wasting your money on a rev box. The cam falls off power before the stocker ends. If your reving that high with a stage 1 you need to learn when to shift.

Yes, it's well worth it.

Its well worth it but just get the 416 piston and get the head ported while your at it.

have the same mods, ull notice a nice power gain since ur coming off an stock 400, but get exhaust to cuz with the cam ur openin the vavles more and gettin more air and exhaust in and out, good luck, p.s get new comtic gaskets
