im thinking of a bigger carb.does anyone know what size stock is?and what should i go up to?I dont want to go into the motor but want more power.this is the best way i can think of.

i got the honda service manual for the 400ex and it says stock carb is 38mm.i 'm thinking about a larger carb too ,i'm also thinking about getting a million other things, until i look at my bank account:( ....ha ha ha ha ..i hate being poor

Yeah, the service manual says 38, but their webstite says 35.5. Either way, I'd look into 39 or 41mm FCR carb.

Go with the Eddlebrock Quicksilver man, it's the number one carb used in ama racing right now.

go with a FCR !!! i would not go with the eddlebrock, my friend with a hetrick 440 bought the eddlebrock and HATED it... then he bought the FCR and hes doin the 90ft triple at fox, he loves the FCR, thats what i am getting also....

the stock carb is 35.5mm!
FCR carbs are great
