How do you change the Pilot jet?

I bought a 42 pilot for my 01 400ex.

In the service manual it says there is a "slow jet" I'm guessing this is the one?

How do you change your pilot jet? It looks like its right next to the main jet.

Do you have to take to carb off the bike?

Float bowl needs to come off. You might be able to just loosen both band clamps and twist/turn the carb enough to gain access. Probably would end up being easier to take the carb off, leaving the cable attached.
