Has anyone ever powdercoated there headpipe?
Will it hold up?
I was thinking about getting a yoshi carbon pipe and then powdercoating the headpipe black or gunmetal. I really like the looks of a all black themed bike. What do you guys think?

you'll need some high temp enamel. Try the stuff they have for brake calipers. That should hold up nicely.

I was thinking that pappy could do this with powdercoating. Hopefully he will see this and let us know.

it works sometimes, other times it doesnt.
i have done some small stuff to test the waters but truthfully it just didnt last or stay looking like it should.
a more predictable coating is as posted "ceramic coating". its about the same price, looks better and lasts longer.
