wat would my displacement become if i bored my 300ex (282cc) .40 over how about .80 thanx for the help

i used to think u gained alot from this but after talking to a mechanic i learned u dont gain much. .40 over would prolly be about a 285-286 and .80 over would prolly be about 290 if that.
